Good vibes and comfy beds!
Just spent 2 nights here, and honestly, it was pretty nice. The host was super friendly and made a great full English breakfast. My room was clean and comfy, and having a microwave and fridge was a sweet bonus! Only bummer was I got a few bug bites, but maybe I was just unlucky. Good value overall!

Decent stay with room for improvement
I enjoyed my one night stay. Interactions with the staff were warm, making me feel welcomed. Tip , check the coffee quality at breakfast! Ensure to inspect the room for any maintenance issues before settling in.

Great stay with lovely folks
Staying here for a few nights was awesome. The staff is super friendly and really go out of their way to help. My room was cozy and spotless, can't believe some people complained about bugs! They also had a great breakfast menu with special diet options. A bit noisy at night, though, if you’re a light sleeper.

this is my third time staying at the jays and i can’t fault the staff or the facilities. the room had all i needed with a fridge and they gave clean towels every day! hot water was really hot, which i loved. breakfast choices were flexible and quick. the staff was friendly and super helpful, too.
only thing is the bathroom wasn’t as nice as last time and it can be a bit noisy because the room faced the main road.

I loved the spacious triple room with multiple entries, made it so easy for our family! 😍 Only downside was a bit of noise from the busy road outside.

Had a fantastic time staying with friends! We explored the beautiful Zoo Gardens, just a short drive away, and enjoyed a lovely traditional breakfast each morning. The hospitality was amazing, and it made our stay even more memorable. Perfect for a fun getaway.
One downside was the confusion with the TV and shower controls, which took us a while to figure out. It would be helpful if clearer instructions were provided.

Just an ideal choice for getting around the area in Bristol with very good value for money. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but I appreciated that it at least had a shower. Bring your own towels as they are quite worn out.

The Twin Room was clean and comfy, which I really appreciated. The towels were changed daily, and the hot water was on point. Only downside was the bed felt a bit dated, could use an upgrade. But overall, I had a nice stay.

It was just a smart choice for a flash visit in Bristol with good value for cost. The mattress was old but at least it was better than a concrete slab. Make sure to check the shower since the water pressure was quite weak during my stay.

Great Stay for a Solo Traveler
I enjoyed my short stay in a cozy single room. The shower was refreshing, perfect after a long day. Although a bit distant from the center, the peacefulness worked for me. Don't miss out on the nearby café for a delicious breakfast!

missingWrote a review on 11 Maycharming decorcozy roomsroad noise
Some charming decor gives a nostalgic vibe, creating a unique atmosphere. Cozy and relatively clean rooms provide a simple yet adequate space for a short stay.
The double room had two singles pushed together which sagged in the middle, making sleep a challenge. The towels resembled something from a less-than-pleasant era, and only one out of three light bulbs worked in the room. The bathroom was a disappointment, as the shower only offered scalding hot water while the sink struggled with pressure, leaving much to be desired in terms of comfort. The road noise from the front room was disruptive at times, especially with the window open, though it was a bit better when closed. Finding dining options nearby proved difficult, and open facilities like a dining room would have been beneficial.

Great stay with friendly staff
I enjoyed my two-night stay in a Triple Room with Bathroom. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and I loved the convenience of having parking right outside my door. The room was spacious and clean, with a fridge that made my stay even more comfortable. the breakfast could use more variety to improve the overall experience.
